You knew better, and yet, somehow you were still surprised.

The bodies of your neighbors laid in a pile in the village square, mangled nearly beyond recognition. And yet they were still distinctly human--a testament to the demons lurking among you, killing off those who had yet to be replaced.

You had hoped you were approaching the end of things. You had killed so many demons already, and yet, they will still out there. How many should you expect, exactly? You had no idea anymore... And now, even more of your neighbors had perished. How you longed that the royal capital would send a priest or two, or even just their knights. How you longed that the nobility had not abandoned your small village after the death of the Hero.

Yet you had been told to be grateful that they had not simply burned down every house. To rejoice in the fact that you were still alive, despite the sins of your village for allowing the Hero to die. And yet...somehow, you think it would've been more merciful to have burned--at least then, those who died could have gone out more peacefully, and you would know that the demons among you were no more...

Last night, you found the body of @MacDaddy, the Town's Bus Driver! The death note attached to the body reads as follows:

His last will, tucked into the pocket of his pants, reads as follows:

Well, it looks like my last bus ride is taking me to heaven. Good luck, townies!
N1: Nothing
N2: Nothing
N3: Nothing
N4: Transported myself and Tyla
N5: Transported tyedye and Clownie

You also found the body of @Tyler, the Town's Doctor! The death note attached to the body reads as follows:

After finding his last will in his house, you read:

N1: No appointments, not really a fan of house calls, if I'm being honest.
N2: Still no appointments. I wish someone would hire me. Perhaps I need some better advertisements?
N3: Healed Luma. Prescribed some gummy vitamins and more sunshine 🙂 SAVED GOLDEN LUMA FROM ATTACK
N4: Healed tyedyeMac. He'd look good in a deerstalker hat, I reckon. SAVED TYEDYEMAC FROM ATTACK. Was teleported.
N5: Healed tyedyeMac again. Officially out of vitamin supplements and healing crystals.

Personally, I'd prescribe a healthy dose of hempen rope for either Light or AlakazANA. More leaning towards AlakazANA at the moment, additional testing will be required though to make sure the prescription is applicable.

You also found the body of @tiedyeMacaroni, the Town's Investigator! The death note attached to the body reads as follows:

N2 Investigated Mac Daddy, but it failed. They had come out as being kidnapped.
(Isprobablywuthappenedbutyaknowalwaysgottabesusaf)
